KWCR is a completely student-run radio station operated out of Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. Our DJs are trained by the student staff and then set loose on the mixer boards in the station. We play mostly the cream of the crop of the Indie genre (it's our opinion so it's the best opinion) and we branch out to other genres our specialty show DJs dig into. It's like having those algorithm-generated stations but this one has a personal input. Based in Ogden, Utah, our station covers news, sports and other topics relevant to the area. Weber State University sporting events are also broadcast live in conjunction with our Weber Media Partners, Studio 76. Hi, my name is Paul Abner, with the Seattle-based band Tin Foil Top Hat. I’m just dropping you a quick line to let you know we’ve got a show coming up on July 27th at Brewskis at 10pm, and we’d love to see you there if you can make it. We’ve got a new album out that we’re excited about, and we’re heading out for a short tour this summer to play tunes from it. This will be our first tour with this line-up, and our singer, Peter’s, first experience touring with an American band since coming here from China to pursue music. We’re trying to engage the larger West Coast music community, and we’d be happy to see you at our show.
