Mac Miller – the Devine Feminine

Music Review

I know that there are many people don’t like Mac Miller, but one thing he does have going for him is the amount of music he puts out. Since his debut in 2010 he has released at least one album a year, sometimes more.

His latest album The Devine Feminine focuses on love and relationships. But for any that are not use to Miller’s music, be prepared for some explicit content. Every album that I have listened to by Miller is explicit, but this album takes a different turn. It is explicit and very sexual.

The beats are superb and there is no doubt that Mac Miller is a talented rapper. Compared to other albums, this one seems to highlight influences from gospel and R&B.

There are of course some hits, “Dang!” and “We” stick out. This album features many artists Bilal, Anderson .Paak, Ty Dolla $ign, Njomza, CeeLo Green, Ariana Grande, and Kendrick Lamar.

Overall, I thought the music was decent, but this album won’t make it to one of my favorites. But if you are a fan of hip-hop and Mac, it’s not one to miss.
